Introduction: The article considers corruption as a socially dangerous, negative phenomenon of modern society. Based on the analysis of official statistical data for the last 5 years, quantitative and qualitative characteristics of corruption-related crime in Russia are determined, its fundamental, legal, organizational, economic, social, cultural and historical factors are analyzed.
