The article analyzes the state of crime, its post-Soviet period promising trends, the problems of law enforcement related to the subjects of its implementation, including deprofessionalization, preventive deprivation, legal psychology deformation. It presents the conclusions on the significant criminogenic determinants change, the development of new types of crime in the areas where social control is difficult, and the conclusion that at the current crime prevention level the changes in the population structure and their characteristics will result in a significant social security reduction and a crime increase in the near future.
