Abstract (English):
The article deals with the problems of investigation of crimes of extremist orientation, which involved youth informal groups. The state of youth extremism is analyzed. One of the most reliable means of combating this phenomenon is the detection and investigation of extremist crimes, as well as the incrimination of the perpetrators. When investigating these crimes, the investigator is invited to use the knowledge of the relevant extremist ideology, which adheres to a specific youth informal group. This approach is able to ensure the solution of tactical tasks at the initial stage of the preliminary investigation. In particular, it is able to assist in determining the location of the sources of evidence by which to recreate the picture of the event.
