Abstract (English):
The article discusses the concepts of «security», «national security», as well as the legislative problems of ensuring the national security of Russia, analyzes the developed theoretical and methodological basis for understanding the phenomenon of «national security» in Russian science and its regulatory and legal framework. The role of legislation in the field of national security is associated with the creation of conditions for the full functioning of the state in the modern world community and the necessary development of a new security paradigm of Russia, taking into account the modern understanding of its state interests and the system of strategic priorities.
