Abstract (English):
In article the retrospective analysis of development of shadow activity is provided in the Russian economy. Some features of market transformations in Russia which are allegedly the reasons of essential increase in scales of shadow economy are considered. The characteristic of types of shadow activity, widespread in the Russian practice, is given. Consequences of development of shadow economy for the Russian society are described.
