The article studies the essence of order as a management practice and also the origin of order, its evolution and purpose. The aim of this paper is to identify latent sources of order as socio-cultural phenomenon of the law enforcement agencies disciplinary space. The article outlines the theory of order introduced by Elias Canetti, analyses the phenomenology and ontology of order and defines the tendency of the modern managerial approach
