One of the factors, that influences on penitentiary crime is the existence of criminal subculture in penal facilities. The presence of criminal environment is one of the reasons of constant development and enrichment of it’s subculture. On certain conditions criminal subculture can grow into counterculture and it can’t be admitted. Otherwise it can grow into original culture[§].
