Abstract (English):
This article is committed to the characteristics of crimes concerning the safety of traffic and the most widely spread infringement of the law in this group of crimes as it is known in an investigatory practice - infringement of the traffic regulations and operation of vehicles that is the crime under art. 264 of the Criminal Code of Russia. The author describes the most important elements of this type of crime: the way to do, conditions, the person of a criminal. The basement of the classifications of the investigatory situations is the system of knowledge of the above mentioned elements and according to that, is the basement which the investigatory process is based upon[†].
