The specific nature of the complex selection of sportsmen of practical shooting for the training them as instructors is considering in this article. The problem of the training of sportsmen in the applied kind of sport «The practical shooting» is the most critical now, because of the absence of qualified coaches and instructors, who can organize training and competition. In the context of this problem we are suggesting the complex methods of selection of sportsmen by the specialization «The practical shooting» with the object of training them for the instructing activity *.
