The main reason for the low effective detection of fire-related offenses lies in flaws at the fire scene which have widespread practice when there is an opportunity to collect all the information necessary about the fire. Unregulated non-systemic actions of the persons which of those carrying out the inquiry into the facts of fire, incomplete sources of information about the occurring event, the inability to identify, fix and use later this information in proving the case leads to very unsatisfactory results. Therefore the special sharpness is got by a problem of improvement of professional skill of the persons investigating the fires. To success can only lead to a clear organization of work at the initial and subsequent stages, the ability to use the achievements of criminology in the investigation of fires.
