Introduction: The article is devoted to the consideration of foreign experience of administrative and legal regulation of domestic violence prevention and the possibility of its use in the Russian Federation. Conclusions significant for practical application are made, proposals are made. Materials and Methods: General scientific principles, approaches and methods are used. The theoretical basis of the study is scientific works, editions, publications and other information and reference materials containing information on foreign experience in administrative and legal regulation of domestic violence prevention, legislative and other regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation; scientific articles of recent years, monographs, scientific and practical manuals on the problem under study, scientific reports. The results of the study: Foreign experience in administrative and legal regulation of domestic violence prevention and the possibilities of its use in the Russian Federation are analyzed, which is of scientific interest for further research on the issue under consideration. The problems of legislative regulation are considered and legislative initiatives are studied, including the draft currently under consideration by the State Duma No. 1183390-6 "On the Prevention of Domestic Violence in the Russian Federation". We find the introduction of this bill premature, but we express our point of view and, based on the analysis, make significant proposals to improve the current legislation in terms of administrative and legal regulation of domestic violence prevention. Findings and Conclusions: The results of the study can be used in law enforcement activities of participants in the administrative and legal regulation of domestic violence prevention, improving the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
