Введение. В статье рассматриваются роль Экспертно-криминалистического центра МВД России в вопросах подготовки специалистов в области пожарно-технической экспертизы в системе МВД России, а также организация этого процесса. Обосновывается необходимость интеграции образовательной, научной и практической деятельности для обеспечения высокого уровня готовности выпускников к самостоятельной работе. Материалы и методы. Исследование выполнено на основе анализа ведомственной статистики, нормативных правовых актов МВД России, использованы материалы, касающиеся взаимодействия Экспертно-криминалистического центра МВД России и Восточно-Сибирского института МВД России 1 , в т. ч. результаты научно-исследовательских и методических работ, сведения о проведенных стажировках, учебных занятиях и научно-представительских мероприятиях, данные о трудоустройстве и уровне подготовки выпускников Института. Результаты исследования. Определено, что с 2012 года после закрепления за Институтом приоритетного профиля подготовки взаимодействие с ЭКЦ МВД России приобрело системный характер, а подписание Соглашения о сотрудничестве в 2023 году позволило повысить эффективность совместной работы. Выявлены ключевые направления: организационно-методическое, образовательное, кадровое, научно-исследовательское и материально-техническое. Показано, что внедрение каскадного принципа передачи знаний и стажировок на финальном этапе обучения способствует сокращению периода адаптации молодых специалистов. Выводы и заключения. Сложившаяся в ВСИ МВД России при активном участии ЭКЦ МВД России система подготовки экспертов пожарно-технического профиля представляет собой эффективную модель интеграции образования, науки и практики. Introduction.This article examines the training of specialists in fire safety expertise within the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as the role of the Forensic Science Center of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in organizing this process. The need to integrate educational, scientific, and practical activities to ensure graduates are highly prepared for independent work is substantiated. Materials and Methods.The study was conducted based on an analysis of departmental statistics, regulatory legal acts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, and materials related to the interaction of the Forensic Science Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the East Siberian Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, including results of research and methodological work, information on internships, training sessions and scientific presentation events, data on the employment and level of training of graduates of the Institute. The Results of the Study.It was determined that since 2012, after the institute was assigned a priority training profile, collaboration with the Forensic Science Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has become systematic, and the signing of a Cooperation Agreement in has enabled the development of systematic collaboration. Key areas of cooperation were identified: organizational and methodological, educational, personnel, research, and logistical support. It was shown that the implementation of a cascade principle of knowledge transfer and internships at the final stage of training helps reduce the adaptation time of young specialists. Findings and Conclusions.The system for training firefighting experts established at the East Siberian Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, with the active participation of the Forensic Science Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, represents an effective model for integrating education, science, and practice. A practice-oriented approach, implemented through internships, the involvement of active experts in the educational process, and joint research, helps graduates develop competencies that meet modern challenges. Further development of this collaboration is advisable in the following areas: expanding the geographic scope of the target recruitment of candidates, integrating virtual reality technologies into the educational process to practice fire scene inspection skills, and holding training sessions at the Institute with the participation of expert units and the Center
