About the Journal

The scientific-practical journal «Vestnik of the East Siberian Institute of the MIA of Russia» is a comprehensive science guide on law enforcement activities in Russia and foreign countries. It is focused on two categories of readers and authors: subjects of law enforcement activities (practitioners, theorists, instructors, trainees) and representatives of civil society.

The journal established by Federal State Budgetary Educational Institute of Higher Education "East Siberian Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation" and published quarterly since June 1997.  The publication is registered in the ISSN International Centre under number 2312-3184.

The journal is included in the system of Russian science citation index (RSCI).  Abstracts of the articles and reference lists are posted on the Internet site of Scientific e-library.

The journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation where the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of a doctor or candidate of science must be published from June 6, 2017.

 

The following headings are presented in the journal:

1. Theoretical and historical legal sciences;

2. Public law (state law) sciences;

3. Criminal law sciences.

The work on the formation and release of the journal is carried out by the editorial board, which includes Russian and foreign specialists. The editorial board provides a review of all scientific materials, adherence to the rules for the preparation of articles by authors.

Remit of the journal:

Scientific articles devoted to topical issues of activity of law enforcement agencies, forensic investigation, legal regulation of activity of law enforcement agencies.
